Unique Aspects of the Project

The two certified national historic register projects, the Crescent Building and Atlantic Park, restored significant and prominent structures to their former grandeur, eliminating urban blight and upgrading the quality of life in both neighborhoods. All four projects offer a very cost- effective solution to restoring independence, well-being and productive livelihoods to residents, while providing attractive and high quality housing and services. These four projects were part a total of nine developed through the state-wide Connecticut Supportive Housing Demonstration Program initiated by the Corporation for Supportive Housing.
